These months we are plotting and imagining, from Grigri Projects and in the company of wonderful people, a shared future in the form of a network. It is the REACC, Network of Community Culture Spaces and Agents, an open assembly for dialogue and support among professionals in the arts and community culture. At the moment we are more than 145 agents, groups, and organizations from all over the Spanish state united in a moment of total uncertainty to express:

–> The invisibility of our work and the limited capacity for dialogue and dialogue with the different representatives of public administrations.

–> The difficulty of sustaining a professional activity in a dignified and continuous manner over time, as a result of the precarious situation, generated, among other issues, by the job insecurity in our sector and the lack of vision and political commitment to culture and its professionals.

–> The impossibility of balancing healthily and sustainably the times and resources between personal life and professional / community life.

–> The absence of an articulation capable of representing voices, sensitivities, and circumstances of the community culture ecosystem characterized by its plurality, its mutability, and its critical capacity.

–> The increase in job uncertainty caused by Covid-19 on how to resume activity after an unexpected stoppage and without having support and shock measures.

For this reason, we want to continue extending and linking the REACC through this form, which we invite you to fill out, to know in detail each of our realities, connect and prepare a public meeting open at the end of September to generate a common agenda.
