Seminar “The invisible, the common and the magic”
Seminar "The invisible, the common and the magic"

This seminar, organized by Intermediae-Matadero and Medialab Prado in collaboration with EVA (Espacio Vecinal Arganzuela) within the framework of the second edition of Grigri Pixel, invites us to explore what are the common challenges and contemporary urban problems in the cities of Africa and Europe in complicity with six contemporary thinkers and creators: Marina Garcés, Abu Ali, Paz Núñez and Simon Njami.
In complicity with six contemporary thinkers and creators Marina Garcés, Abu Ali, Paz Núñez, and Simon Njami from different areas such as philosophy, post-colonial studies, audiovisuals, architecture, art, and urban planning, we invite you to explore what are the common challenges and contemporary urban problems in the cities of Africa and Europe.
As if it were a grigri or collective amulet, this meeting aims to explore and invoke those cultural, spatial, and socio-technical imaginaries, the tools and strategies of both continents that could be shared or creatively recombined and that could protect and strengthen us each other in the difficult and mundane process of living together.
