Vórtices
Vórtices

Graphic design and layout of communication resources for the Vórtices program: Workshops and meetings about the bodies that migrate and raise futures. What bodies matter? Organized and promoted by the Asociación SERCADE. This program was accompanied by the pictorial installation Vórtices, which gave its name to the program, a work by the artist Iruña Cormenzana, also promoted by SERCADE and by the Hermanos Capuchinos.
The artistic intervention of Iruña Cormenzana is made up of twenty ephemeral works, painted in acrylic on cardboard and exhibited on the exterior façade panels of the Basilica de Jesús de Medinaceli and the Asociación SERCADE.
The Vórtices program consists of a series of meetings that propose different places from which to look at a fact itself: we have reduced human beings to being bodies floating on our borders. But we resist that our gaze meets them only at that moment.
We want to approach people beyond their condition of being excluded; dream and weave future sets; and also think together about what are the elements that lead a person to have peripheral status, unless it is a priority of citizenship policies and practices.
What bodies matter?
