Ana Longoni
Writer, independent researcher at CONICET and professor of undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Buenos Aires and the Independent Studies Program (MACBA, Barcelona). Doctor of Arts (UBA), she specializes in the intersections between art and politics in Argentina and Latin America from the mid-20th century to the present day.
She has recently published alone or in collaboration: Del Di Tella a Tucumán Arde (Buenos Aires, El cielo por asalto, 2000, reissue: Eudeba, 2008 and 2010), Traiciones. La Figura del Traidor en los relatos acerca de los sobrevivientes de la represión (Buenos Aires, Norma, 2007), El Siluetazo (Buenos Aires, Adriana Hidalgo Editora, 2008), Conceptualismos del Sur / Sul (Sao Paulo, Annablume, 2009), Romero (Buenos Aires, Espigas, 2010), Roberto Jacoby. El deseo nace del derrumbe (Barcelona, La Central / Adriana Hidalgo / MNCARS, 2011), Leandro Katz (Buenos Aires, Espigas, 2013) and Vanguardia y revolucion (Buenos Aires, Ariel, 2014). She compiled Oscar Masotta’s art texts collected in Revolucion en el Arte (Buenos Aires, Mansalva, 2017). She has curated –among others- the exhibitions “El deseo nace del derrumbe” (MNCARS, Madrid, 2011), “Perder la forma humana” (MNCARS, Madrid, 2012 / MALI, Lima, 2013 / MUNTREF Buenos Aires, 2014),“Con la provocación de Juan Carlos Uviedo” (MUAC, México, 2015) y “Oscar Masotta: la teoría como acción” (MUAC, México, 2017/MACBA, Barcelona, 2018/ Parque de la Memoria, Buenos Aires, 2018). Two theatrical works of her authorship have premiered in Buenos Aires: “La Chira” (2003) and “Árboles” (2006). Since its foundation in 2007, it has promoted the Red Conceptualismos del Sur. Since 2018 she has been the director of Public Activities at the Reina Sofía Museum (Madrid).
